Board Of Directors

At the heart of our nonprofit is our Board. We work together to support En Corps’ operations, including (but not limited to) applying for funding, fundraising, marketing, and planning programming.

  • Meghann O'Hearn

    President

Born and raised in Calgary, AB, Meghann began dancing at age 5. She trained intensively in ballet, jazz, acro, and contemporary at local studios. After graduating from the competition dance scene, Meghann continued to pursue her passion through En Corps Dance Collective, making her debut in their 2021/2022 production WoMentality. In 2022, Meghann was invited to join the Board of Directors as a Member at Large and was elected Artistic Director for the 2022/2023 season. Meghann continues to teach, choreograph, and direct with En Corps Dance Collective. Now, seated as President on the Board of Directors, Meghann is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space for local artists to grow and nurture their love of movement. She hopes to continue sharing her knowledge with the collective's future Board members and Artistic Directors.

Meghann has always been academically driven outside of dance. Continuing her academic pursuits, Meghann recently completed her B.A. in Psychology (First Class Honours) at the University of Calgary. Meghann now works as a Girls Program Facilitator with the Centre for Sexuality — providing trauma-informed sexual health and healthy relationship education to young girls in Calgary and surrounding areas.
